On May 19, 2022, Esperanza Immigration Legal Services (EILS), hosted a fundraiser entitled “Celebrating Hope for Immigrants: Cuentos de Esperanza”. Rick Jurewicz, Senior Partner at Galfand Berger, represented Chip Leasure’s family after Mr. Leasure was killed in a workplace accident in 2016. Chip was employed as an electrical foreman in Pennsylvania when he was fatally electrocuted while installing electrical switchboard equipment. Rick secured a confidential pretrial settlement, that will provide security to Mrs. Leasure and her two children.
