    Galfand Berger Shows Support for Berks County Puerto Rican Day Parade and Latino Festival

    Philaxdelphia Law Frim of Galfand Berger, LLP provides community support to such events as the Berks County Puerto Rican Day Parade and Latino Festival. This past weekend, thousands of people came together in downtown Reading to celebrate the 3rd annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Latino Festival. The festival showcased a day of festivities, live entertainment, and food in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Our firm sponsored a table at the event, which was also attended by numerous community organizers and elected officials.

    Hosted annually by La Mega, a Reading-based Spanish radio station and I-LEAD, a non-profit that focuses primarily on the development of community leadership, the festival drew in more than 10,000 participants last year. Not only was the parade and festival a fun-filled day with plenty of activities and good food, but it also raised money and resources that will help community members who are in need.
