Each year, the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association (PBA) bestows the Martha J. Hampton award to an attorney or judge who best encapsulates the values that Martha cherished: a steadfast dedication to the tenets and ideals of workers’ compensation law, professionalism, scholarship, goodwill with her peers, and perhaps most importantly, an unending compassion for others.
