Galfand Berger Receives Award from United Labor Council of Reading and Berks County

The United Labor Council of Reading and Berks County recently recognized Galfand Berger’s support and commitment to labor unions and the hardworking people of Reading and Berks County.

The Labor Council was founded in 1960 and works to support the working people in Reading and Berks counties through democratic processes. With more than 900,000 members, the council fights equally for all people so that they can obtain affordable healthcare, job safety and sustainable wages.

Galfand Berger has a long history of protecting the rights of workers and working to secure a safe and reasonable standard of work conditions for individuals and members of labor unions. Part of the Labor Council’s mission statement is to secure the “full recognition and enjoyment of the rights to which workers are justly entitled”, a sentiment that the firm not only embraces, but also actively pursues on behalf of all workers.
