Our firm was honored to participate in and sponsor the United Labor Council of Reading and Berks County’s 33rd annual golf outing, which benefits the community in a variety of ways. The event took place at the end of last month.
The United Labor Council of Reading and Berks County was founded in 1960. Today, the Council has more than 900,000 members. Comprised by democratically elected bodies, the Reading and Berks chapter is one of nearly 500 state and local labor councils of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations). Staunchly dedicated to supporting the working people of Berks and Reading counties through democratic processes, the Council fights equally for all people so they can obtain affordable healthcare, sustainable wages and job safety.
