Richard Jurewicz Honored by Best Lawyers

Selection Process

Best Lawyers only selects 55,000 attorneys across the country for inclusion each year. To be named as one of the top lawyers in the country, nominees must first undergo an exhaustive vetting process. Best Lawyers employs the following methodology for selection: 

• Nomination submission. Attorneys cannot nominate themselves for induction, they can only be nominated by others
• Peer review. Attorneys who have already been recognized by the organization provide feedback on the caliber and breadth of the candidate’s work and legal expertise 
• Analysis of feedback. Best Lawyers compiles all documents and thoroughly reviews voter feedback to assess each candidate
• Eligibility checks. During the eligibility check phase, Best Lawyers confirms that attorneys are in good standing with their local bar organizations 
• Releasing results. Firms are notified of the results and newly recognized lawyers are published in print and online 

Richard Jurewicz and His Team

Richard Jurewicz first joined our firm’s litigation department in 1984. In the four decades since then, Rick became a Senior Partner and has been responsible for achieving many of Galfand Berger’s largest recoveries. Rick is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also one of just 100 Pennsylvania attorneys to be inducted into the Outstanding Lawyers of America. Since 2015, Rick has also been selected in the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, receiving a “Lead Counsel” rating; Rick has also received the “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, or the highest rating an attorney can receive.
