We are proud to announce that the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section has appointed partner, Brad Smith, to its Council. Some of the Council’s chief goals are to further the development of the law and all procedures related to it as well as to improve the application of justice in civil litigation.
Brad joins the PA Bar Association Civil Litigation Section Council after two years of serving as Editor of the Section’s newsletter. Brad will assist the Council in fulfilling some of its other primary objectives, which include stimulating and extending the study of civil litigation and thoroughly reviewing proposed legislation and rule changes that have the potential to impact civil litigators across Pennsylvania.
Brad earned his Juris Doctorate from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. Brad has an extensive writing background and has had several articles published over the years. He won first place in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers’ national writing competition for his article on the gig economy, and he also won the PA Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Centennial Essay Contest for his piece on workers’ mental disabilities that are caused by mental stress.
Since joining our team at Galfand Berger in 2015, Brad has proudly advocated on behalf of injured workers, consumers, and other victims of negligence. If you would like to learn more about Brad’s legal experience and expertise, please visit: https://www.galfandberger.com/attorneys/bradley-smith/.
