Galfand Berger Presents at USW District 10 Conference

Each year, the United Steelworkers (USW) hosts an array of important conferences around the country. USW – District 10, which includes the state of Pennsylvania,  recently held its 2023 conference.  The District 10 Conference included a number of noteworthy workshops, like Effective Health and Safety Committees, Grievance Handling, Labor Law Update, and Workers’ Compensation. These workshops aid union members in learning and developing specific skill sets that lend themselves to identifying solutions to problems that commonly present themselves in the workplace.

Since 1947, our firm has proudly stood on the side of unions and their members.  Galfand Berger fights for injured workers, helping them obtain the justice they deserve.  Their injury is our fight.

So, it is unsurprising that Galfand Berger was excited for the opportunity to present at this year’s conference, where two of our firm’s Senior Partners, Michael McGurrin and Michael Malvey, spoke about workers’ compensation, products liability, third party liability, and other personal injury cases. In addition to Mr. McGurrin and Mr. Malvey’s joint contributions, our firm hosted a reception for attendees of the District 10 Conference. And, partner Farhan Ali hosted a table where guests learned more about our firm and what we do to support our local labor unions and their hardworking members
