    Galfand Berger Supports WMMR’s Camp Out for Hunger

    Each Thanksgiving season, Galfand Berger, LLP is proud to support 93.3 WMMR’s Camp Out for Hunger, the largest single-location food drive in the world. Now in its 28th year, this incredible community event continues to make a lasting impact on families across the region.

    This year, the attorneys and legal professionals at Galfand Berger came together once again to help fight hunger in our community. We’re proud to share that Galfand Berger donated 913 pounds of food to support the campaign’s mission of providing nutritious meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Since our firm started participating in this food drive, we have donated over 10,000 pounds of food!

    Camp Out for Hunger partners with Philabundance, a local nonprofit food bank serving Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. Together with local businesses and community members, the campaign collects vital food and financial contributions that help ensure no one has to go without a meal.

    The results of this year’s campaign are inspiring — with more than 1.8 million pounds of food and $1,635,637.21 in monetary donations — collected to help those in need. Every can, box, and dollar truly makes a difference.  These donations are especially needed as our friends and neighbors experience food insecurity due to cuts in SNAP and rising tariffs, which impact grocery prices.  Galfand Berger was excited to contribute to this extraordinary event and to help the less fortunate members of our community.
