    Galfand Berger Attorney Michael McGurrin Participates in Workers’ Compensation Conference

    July 25, 2013 – In June 2013, Galfand Berger attorney Michael McGurrin participated in the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry’s annual Workers’ Compensation Conference.

    Each year, this event brings together knowledgeable and experienced individuals who are respected experts in their field to present on timely and interesting matters relevant to the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation program. The speakers come from various areas of expertise including, but not limited to, the labor, insurance, health and legal industries.

    Mike presented on the topic of “Privacy and Electronic Medical Records.” The session included an overview of the development and use of recording health information electronically and a discussion on the impact this has on Workers’ Compensation claims.
