One of our firm’s partners, Gabriela Raful, recently presented a CLE (or a continuing legal education course) at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL). Gabby joined four other presenters, and together they discussed ways that law firms can enhance their ability to perform public service projects, along with a variety of other important and useful legal topics.
The CLE was titled “Exploring New Paths: Community Projects”. Attorneys Wesley Payne, Zane Johnson, and Jill Scheidt, and Bar Executive Janis Hackett joined Gabriela. The presenters focused on how attorneys can conduct pro bono (free of charge) work through their local bar association chapters, as well as how to create meaningful and visible relationships with reputable legal organizations.
As a partner at Galfand Berger, Gabby represents injured clients in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, products liability, Social Security disability, and personal injury law. If you or a loved one was injured and you need Gabriela’s help, please contact a representative at our firm who can put you in touch with one of her team members.
