    Debra Jensen Named as One of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators

    Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyers are pelased to have Debra Jensen named a one of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. Our firm is proud to announce that one of our attorneys – Debra Jensen – was recently selected for membership as one of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. Debra is not only a Senior Partner at Galfand Berger, but is also the firm’s Managing Partner. In order to be selected, each candidate must first undergo a complex and multi-part screening process.

    The Award and How Attorneys Get Selected

    Being selected as one of only 100 High Stakes Litigators is a big deal, especially because there are tens of thousands of practicing lawyers across the state of PA (and the organization chooses only 100 recipients in each state). The organization judges candidates on several meaningful criteria, like:

    • Reputation among peers;
    • Community impact (through pro bono and/or low-cost legal volunteering, etc.);
    • Professional experience and achievements (e.g. publications, lectures, membership and/or participation in various organizations, etc.);
    • Significant case results, and:
    • Client satisfaction ratings

    Altogether, less than 1% of practicing attorneys are honored and named as one of the Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. The organization ensures an unbiased selection process by disallowing anyone from purchasing memberships as well as forbidding memberships that result solely from peer-based nominations. Members of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators must exemplify ethical standards and professional excellence.

    Debra’s Biography

    Debra litigates our firm’s medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. She also represents victims (or their surviving family members) of nursing home abuse and neglect. After graduating with honors from Temple University, Debra was admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Middle Districts, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of PA.

    Debra has numerous published opinions, and has achieved many significant results on behalf of her clients. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD), an organization that provides free legal services to physically disabled and low-income individuals across several Philadelphia-area counties.
