Galfand Berger Welcomes New Associate

We are pleased to welcome our newest Associate Attorney, Abigail de Uriarte, to the firm.

Abby first joined Galfand Berger as a law clerk in May 2019. She became an associate after earning her Juris Doctorate from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law. Before earning her law degree, Abby received her undergraduate degree in political science from Bard College and a graduate degree in government from Cornell University.

Abby’s passion for law was first ignited after serving on her high school’s mock trial team in southern New Jersey. Our team could tell right away that Abby would uphold our firm’s mission of securing full and just compensation for people who have suffered injustices and injuries. While in law school, she represented indigent individuals in Philadelphia’s municipal court. She also volunteered her time as a soccer coach for the Clark Park youth soccer league in West Philadelphia.

When she is not practicing law, Abby enjoys going to the beach in southern Delaware, watching professional soccer games and playing with her dog, Zara H. de Uriarte.
