    Marc Jacobs: Moderator at Workers’ Compensation Conference

    On June 1, 2011, Marc Jacobs participated as moderator for a panel discussion of The Heart and Lung Act at the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Conference held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The panel discussed a basic overview of the Act, including general concepts and how the Act overlaps/interplays with the Commonwealth’s Workers Compensation Act.

    Five times selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer’s list, Marc is also a past President of the Workers’ Compensation Sections of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and remains active in both of these groups. He was a member of the Governor’s Committee on Proposed Amendments for Workers’ Compensation Rules and Regulations and holds membership in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PaAJ). Marc has lectured throughout the state on Workers’ Compensation and has taught at Penn State University and St. Joseph’s University. He is a co-author of Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s publication, Fundamentals of Workers’ Compensation.
