  • Galfand Berger’s Donation to the Camp Out For Hunger Campaign – the Largest One Yet!

Philadelphia personal injury lawyers discuss Galfand Berger’s donation to the camp out for hunger campaign – the largest one yet.Every holiday season, the radio station 93.3 WMMR hosts its “Camp Out For Hunger” campaign along with Philabundance, a Delaware-valley based hunger relief organization. Our firm is proud to announce that this is our 10th year participating in the important fundraiser. The campaign aims to reduce food insecurity and is the largest single-location food drive in the country.

Food insecure people do not know where their next meal will come from – or if they will even have one at all. Philabundance serves approximately 90,000 people each week. Nearly one-third of the people Philabundance serves are children, and more than 15% are senior citizens. Many others are single parents, veterans, people with disabilities, students, and working class families.

For the tenth year in a row, our firm has broken its previous donation record! This year we donated 737 pounds of food. Since first becoming involved in the Camp Out for Hunger fundraiser in 2009, our firm has donated more than 4,700 pounds of food – or 2.35 tons! Last year, the Camp Out For Hunger campaign successfully donated 1.87 million pounds of food and $200,000 to Philabundance. Although this year’s numbers are not yet in, the donations will help feed more than 700,000 men, women, and children.

Do you want to find out more about 93.3 WMMR’s Camp Out For Hunger campaign or would like to make a donation to Philabundance? Every dollar donated to Philabundance helps provide two meals to someone in need.
