On May 10, 2016, Esperanza Immigration Legal Services (EILS) hosted a special event at the Art Alliance Building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to honor local contributions to the immigrant community. The event was emceed by Galfand Berger Senior Partner Michael Malvey, who sits on the EILS Board of Directors.
The event honored current Pennsylvania State Senator and former EILS Board Chair Art Haywood as well as the founder and CEO of Al Dia Newspaper, Hernán Guaracao. The event featured art by immigrant artists Jason Patrick Jenkins and Frito Bastien.
