Galfand Berger: Food Drive for the Area Hungry

December 3, 2012 – Each year at Thanksgiving, Galfand Berger attorneys and staff contribute food and cash donations to support Philabundance through radio personalities Preston and Steve’s “Camp Out for Hunger” food drive.

As noted on the Philabundance website, this organization “…provides food to approximately 65,000 people per week through [its] direct services and network of 500 member agencies including emergency food kitchens, food cupboards, senior centers, and more. [They] serve low income residents at risk of hunger and malnutrition, of which 23% are children and 16% are senior citizens. These services are accessed by vulnerable populations such as those with disabilities or suffering from mental illness, as well as families slipping through the hunger safety net.”

This year, Galfand Berger’s generosity allowed us to donate a combined 325 pounds of food to Philabundance!
