Case Synopsis:
A 57-year old painter was injured when he tripped over carpet while working. The employer alleged claimant only suffered a lumbar sprain. We contended claimant suffered a herniated disc.
Employer filed petition to terminate alleging any low back pain came from a non work related injury claimant had purportedly suffered two years prior to this work injury.
Outcome:
The case was resolved through mediation for $140,000.00.
