Galfand Berger is proud to participate in the Berks Arts’ Fast Lane Art, a juried exhibition and contest that honors and publicly showcases art from local high school students. Our firm is taking part in the art tour by displaying a piece of student artwork on our office window in downtown Reading. Berks Arts’ mission is to inspire, engage, and unite the Berks community through the arts, education, collaboration, and presentation. If you live in the Reading area, you do not want to miss out on this year’s community exhibit!
Another part of Berks Arts’ two-fold mission is to positively impact the community through the creation of art events, collaborations, and grants. Berks Arts partnered with the BCIU Secondary Art Show and hosted an exhibit back in February. The exhibit showcased more than 1,700 pieces of art in various mediums from over 1,100 students from different schools.
Certain pieces are on display at local businesses and community centers throughout West Reading and the City of Reading. Viewers can also see student artwork displayed on street pole banners in the City of Reading. We are excited to announce that our Reading office is featuring a piece by Courtney Sheckler from Daniel Boone High School:
Without all of the student participants, this year’s community art exhibit would not have been possible. We would like to take a moment to congratulate all the talented student artists on their great work!
