    Attorney Henry Yampolsky Teaches Workshop on Avoiding National Origin Discrimination

    On Friday, February 7th, 2014, Galfand Berger Attorney Henry Yampolsky served as one of the presenters at a recent seminar hosted by The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians. At the workshop titled “Avoiding National Origin Discrimination,” Attorney Yampolsky discussed the legal process involved in claims of national origin discrimination.

    The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians connects new arrivals to economic opportunities in our region so that they can successfully integrate into their new homeland.

    Attorney Henry Yampolsky focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury litigation, employment discrimination, labor law and workers’ compensation. Attorney Yampolsky takes an active role in the affairs of the Greater Philadelphia Russian-Speaking community.  He serves as the Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors for the New World Association of Immigrants from Eastern Europe and sits on the Board of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). Henry also co-authored a chapter for the 19th Annual Employment Law Institute, titled From Checkered Past to Bleak Future – Protecting the Employment Rights of Individuals with Past Criminal Records, PBI 2013.   To learn more about Henry, read his full bio here.
