Galfand Berger Attorney Henry Yampolsky Featured as Keynote Speaker at Naturalization Ceremony
June 12, 2013 – This year, the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) held its first naturalization ceremony. The ceremony, held on Wednesday May 15th, officially established forty-nine immigrants from twenty-seven countries as U.S. citizens.
Galfand Berger attorney Henry Yampolsky was selected as the keynote speaker for this event. A native of Ukraine, Henry takes an active role in the affairs of the Greater Philadelphia immigrant community. He serves as the Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors for the New World Association of Immigrants from Eastern Europe and sits on the Board of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS).
As a naturalized U.S. citizen from Ukraine, Henry was able to share his first-hand experience and encouragement with those honored at this ceremony. As part of the receiving line, Henry had the privilege of being one of the first to congratulate and welcome the forty-nine new U.S. citizens.
