$350,000 Settlement for Slip and Fall at Bucks County Hospital
Case Summary:
Client was a 58 year old nurse’s assistant who was walking through the hospital when she slipped and fell in a pool of stripping wax that had been left near the elevator by the maintenance crew. As a result of the fall, our client suffered a herniated disc at L4-5, causing severe back pain that radiated down to her legs. Our investigation of the accident revealed that the maintenance worker failed to put wet floor signs down in the area where the wax was put down, which would have prevented our client from walking into the slippery wax.
Outcome:
The matter settled for $350,000.00.
