  • Galfand Berger Employment Lawyer Henry Yampolsky: The Impact of Criminal Charges and Convictions on Employment Law

May 1, 2013 – Henry Yampolsky, a senior associate at Galfand Berger, LLP, was a course planner and speaker for PBI’s seminar: “The Impact of Criminal Charges and Convictions on Employment Law.”  This course was part of PBI’s Employment Law Institute, held on April 16 and 17, 2013.

This course explored the effect that criminal charges and convictions have on employment, with a particular emphasis on recent Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines.  The course also examined what applicants need to know about disclosing criminal history to employers and potential employers.

Since joining Galfand Berger, LLP in 2006, Henry has been practicing in the areas of personal injury litigation, employment discrimination and labor law, and Workers’ Compensation. He has been a member of the team of Galfand Berger lawyers who have attained some of the largest, multi-million dollar client recoveries in Pennsylvania.

In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Super Lawyers magazine recognized Henry as one of the top young attorneys in Pennsylvania, naming him to the Pennsylvania Rising Star list. Each year, only the top 2.5% of all attorneys practicing in Pennsylvania share this achievement.
