Michael Malvey is a partner in Galfand Berger's personal injury department. Since joining the firm in 2002, Michael has handled a wide variety of cases within the personal injury department, including automobile accidents, premises liability cases, construction site accidents, products liability matters, and medical malpractice cases. He has been a member of the team of Galfand Berger lawyers who have attained some of the largest, multi-million dollar client recoveries in Pennsylvania. A fierce advocate for workers, Michael proudly represents the United Steelworkers in Federal labor and employment cases.

Michael is an experienced trial attorney, having successfully brought several jury trials to verdict as well as appearing before Arbitration panels, appellate courts and at hearings throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Michael also has a successful track record of handling appellate matters before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Michael's accomplishments have led to his addition to the Pennsylvania Rising Star's list; for five consecutive years, including the most-recent 2011 list. Michael has lived in Philadelphia his entire life, where he also attended college and law school. Michael's talent for litigation was recognized early in his career, as he was awarded a Barrister's Award for being the top student in his class in Temple Law School's nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Program. Michael is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
