Eric J. Swan

Eric Swan is a Senior Partner in the law firm of Galfand Berger. He received a Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law and earned a Bachelors Degree in economics and political science from Allegheny College, where he was an Alden Scholar. His area of concentration is automobile accident cases.

Eric is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Pennsylvania, Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the American Association for Justice, Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He was recently recognized for his work in the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program where he helps people who cannot otherwise afford a lawyer.

Eric has authored a book entitled, "Auto Insurance - Understanding Your Policy & Rights" as well as an article entitled "Hospital Liability for Corporate Negligence" that was published in Medical Trial Technique Quarterly and reprinted with permission in the Personal Injury Deskbook published by Matthew Bender. Eric was selected to the 2006 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list, an honor only given to the top 5% of more than 34,000 Pennsylvania lawyers. He is a frequent lecturer on a number of topics including automobile insurance, people's rights after an accident and insurance company bad faith.
