The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning about the diabetes drug pioglitazone, sold as Actos, ActoplusMet, Competact, and Duetact.

Actos is an oral diabetes medicine that recent studies have shown leads to serious injuries such as an increased risk of bladder cancer.
